Gloves help your grip when working out, especially when sweating. They will also keep calluses off of your hands. But regular weightlifting gloves fail to pad your fingers and the padding in their palms is not enough. They almost always scrunch up, chaff or irritate your hands. They make hands hot, sweaty and can be a tug of war to put on and take off. They can stink and leather dyes can stain your skin.

This weightlifting glove called "NewGrips" solves ALL those problems:

NewGrip padded cycling gloves absorb shock and vibration

padded cycling gloves

Reduce the risk of cyclers palsy.

Easy on your hands and wrists.

Like shock absorbers for your hands!

These gloves pad and cushion your entire palm and fingers; which no leather glove does. The neoprene Grips change your hand geometry into a level, padded, surface that effectively distributes pressure.

The neoprene cushion effectively protects you palms, and the heavy duty wrist strap stabilizes your wrists and the carpal tunnel area so you no longer feel significant compressive forces in your wrists when cycling.

Padded palms and fingers strengthen grip, absorb pain and prevent calluses. NewGrips have no finger holes to jam your hands into and are easy to put on and take off. Your hands stay cool and comfy.

As soon as you release your grip from the handle bars you can slip your hands out of NewGrips and allow fresh air flow to your hands, leaving them cool and fresh rather than hot and sweaty.

The Hand Pads attach to the Wrist Support Straps with velcro.

We all face fitting issues when buying gloves. Too long, too short, too wide, too tight, too loose, etc.

Can be worn over thin gloves in cool or rainy conditions

NewGrips fit your hand properly. No more poor fitting gloves. The size of Newgrip glove you choose is based on your height and wrist size so a properly fitted glove is shipped.

Height is an accurate correlation to the size of your hand. Less than .5 % of all customers using this method need to exchange sizes. NOTE: Women over 5'9" (175 cm) with slender hands should order the Medium.

Measure your largest wrist about 1 inch up from the wrist bone toward your forearm. Lay the tape lightly on your wrist.

If you do not know your wrist size and do not have a tape measure use this method...

Cut a piece of string, wrap it around your wrist LIGHTLY, about 1 inch (ca. 25mm) above your wrist bone.

Mark the string.

Lay it flat on a ruler. This will be close enough to select the proper size.

Here's another great reason to buy Newgrips:

Made in the USA, Newgrips, along with a growing number of small businesses, have decided NOT to outsource our manufacturing, bite the bullet on higher profit margins and keep Americans employed. Our super 100% woven cotton is made in a mill on the East Coast. Our neoprene is made in the South, our sewing is done in Washington State and our hand pads are made in Portland, Oregon. NewGrips is also a family run, home based business.

Nice, huh?

Finally something NOT MADE IN CHINA!

NewGrips are not manufactured. Real people, using sewing machines, stitch together each NewGrip, one pair at a time. This personal touch leaves room for human error. Currently less then 1 pad in 1000 has a problem and only 1 wrist strap in 10,000. These stats indicate excellent workmanship.

Buy a pair or two; you’ll be happy you did!

NewGrips are more than just weight lifting gloves. They are also for Pull Ups, Chins, Crossfit, Kettlebells, Rowing (indoor, outdoor and open water) and the Wrist Support by itself is useful for musicians, typists, workers, athletes and those with wrist tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome.

"In 2004 I won the MET-Rx Body Challenge. During years of lifting, I must have gone through a pair of leather weight lifting gloves every three months. The stitching came undone, leather would tear, they'd get stretched out, not fit, and start to smell.

Now, I use NewGrips and I'll NEVER use anything else. Not only is the price right, but they protect my hands, keep them cool, support my wrists, give me a much better grip and they're nearly indestructible.

I'm big because I lift heavy, and I'm able to lift heavy because I use NewGrips. "

Greg Adler, Attorney, California

"Considering my favorite exercise is the deadlift, (that's me in the photo) I was very excited to try the New Grips and see if I could make an increase on my 1RM. My 1RM was 295 with traditional gloves. 2 days later I attempted my NewGrip 1RM in which I pulled a 315.NewGrips are superior compared to lifting straps, because they do not put as much stress on the wrists as the straps do. I love New Grips....Thanks to everyone at for all the recommendations."

David McBride, Massachusetts

"Your wrist wraps really support my wrists for pushing movements. Carpal Tunnel hasn't gotten in the way of pursuing my goal of 150% BW bench, but my teenage daughter is! She's trying to steal them for the sake of fashion!"

Duane Wiegardt -U.S. Coast Guard

Better Batting Gloves

"Typically, after a 30 minute session in the cage using conventional batting gloves, I would get blisters and cuts, but with the NewGrip gloves, nothing of the sort. Amazing. They also absorb that painful 'ping' that shoots up the arm. And I use them for weight training."

James Wang, New York

"I battled several bouts with inflammation and mild tendonitis prior to using your NewGrip straps. Excitedly I now proclaim that I am simply amazed by your product and the awesome results I’ve experienced! Your straps have all but alleviated my pain, soreness, and weakness! The stamina is back! I will both promote and use your straps for years to come."

Working out is hard enough without having to put up with ugly calluses, sore hands and poor grip just because of abrasive bars, poorly padded equipment handles or a physical limitation. All sorts of gloves have been designed in an attempt to eliminate the abuse hands take when lifting weights. If you have a fresh blister, calluses, or are frustrated with your inability to complete those last few reps, you are not alone.

Originally, I was skeptical of these new type of "gloves". Nevertheless, I was open to trying them out. In the past, I had not used gloves because I did not like my hands feeling restricted when it came to the feel of the weights in my hands. The NewGrips took some adapting but they soon warmed on me.

My first impression of the Grips was that they cushioned the barbells and dumbbells in my hands, thus allowing me to handle heavier weights more comfortably. Within days, I noticed that it was second nature flipping the Grips on and off between sets and exercises. Heavy weights tend to put enormous amounts of pressure on the palms of our hands but with the Grips, you do not feel that pressure, therefore allowing us to focus more on the exercise.

Since Grips are a two part system both the hand pads and the wrist straps are fully adjustable for a custom fit. Grips are the only adjustable glove." After a few weeks of using the Grips, I decided to go through a few work-outs without using them to see if it had made that much of an impact in my work-outs. Needless to say, I felt something amiss…in fact, I almost felt naked without my Grips! Give your hands a treat and slip on a pair of Grips today and see how they revolutionize the way you feel about working out...

I have used these gloves at least five times a week for over a year now, and they still look and work like the day I got them. The neoprene pad did not rip or tear; the wrist strap still tightens like a vise grip; and NO SWEATY SMELL like regular weightlifting gloves.

Sometimes I just use the wrist supports alone when I lift, they truly help the tendonitis in my right wrist. You literally can tighten the wrist supports up enough to cut off circulation!
